It is an international peer-reviewed journal published annually in one volume of two issues. It deals exclusively with the issues of desert research and development that fall within the scope of environment, natural resources, water, soil, plants, animals and human resources as well as socio\u200ceconomic aspects of desert development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The EJDR magazine was previously published as \u201cThe Desert Institute Bulletin, Egypt\u201d (Bulletin de l\u2019Institute du Desert d\u2019Egypte).
