The Drilling Unit at DRC carries out works and studies to explore ground water and to determine the most appropriate locations for drilling wells. It drills and maintains groundwater wells, analyses water, and develops its suitability for various uses. It is a service unit for drilling and designing test, production and monitoring water wells. The depth of production wells is 300 m, and 450 m for monitoring wells. The unit is newly equipped with the latest drilling machines and equipment that reach depths of over 2,700 feet. This unit drills test and production wells for many investors and cooperative communities under the supervision of experts and professors specializing in this field.
