Labs

DRC includes a group of advanced laboratories that serve agricultural production, detect soil and water pollutants, and analyse a number of natural phenomena and their impact on the environment. There are central laboratories for water, soil and plant analyses, as well as a plant tissue culture laboratory that was established in 1986, and was supplied with the modern equipment needed for tissue culture studies and biotechnology. This is in addition to providing greenhouses for the seedlings resulting from tissue culture procedures and preparing seedlings that are resistant to viral diseases. Also, a Nanotechnology Applications Laboratory has recently joined DRC labs. The Nanotechnology lab was established according to the scientific standards to be specialized in modern applications in plant disease research, especially nanotechnology techniques.
