Dr. Hosam Shawky, president of Desert Research Center, met with a delegation from the National Network for Desalination to discuss the final stages of preparing the scientific base for the National Network for Desalination, which is being implemented by DRC in cooperation with the Military Technical College
Dr. Shawky emphasized that the visit aimed to review the latest technical and scientific developments related to the project, in preparation for the upcoming launch of the scientific base online
The visit included an extensive tour of the center, the central laboratories, and the Egyptian Center of Excellence. The tour concluded with a visit to the research project on the use of green hydrogen as a clean and sustainable energy source to operate desalination plants
