Desert Research Center continues its field visits in South Sinai to meet with farmers and provide technical and advisory support as part of its efforts to promote sustainable agricultural development, following the directives of Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Mr. Alaa Farouk to expand micro and small-scale projects
Dr. Hosam Shawky, President of DRC, emphasized the importance of continuous communication with farmers to improve production and enhance the livelihoods of agricultural families. He highlighted the visit to the Sahl Al-Qaa’ community to assess farmers’ needs and support micro and small-scale agricultural projects
He also stressed the establishment of demonstration agricultural models to serve as references for future expansion, confirming that DRC will continue providing developmental and technical services to achieve comprehensive growth in agricultural communities in both North and South Sinai, including poultry, olive, and other rural initiatives
