The tour included reviewing the current crops of palm and Bermuda grass, emphasizing the implementation of technical recommendations to increase productivity, and highlighting the station’s role in producing palm seedlings using tissue culture suitable for Toshka’s environmental conditions
The Center’s President also stressed the importance of enhancing the station’s advisory and service roles, supporting agricultural sustainability, and promoting agricultural expansion in the region
