Desert Research Center (DRC) took part in a scientific seminar organized by the Faculty of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at Arish University, under the title “Organic Agriculture and Biofertilizers.” The event was held within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the two institutions, and aimed to promote awareness of sustainable agriculture in North Sinai, following directives from Ministry of Agriculture
The seminar was attended by academic leaders and researchers. Experts from the DRC, including Dr. Amr Abdel-Gawad and Dr. Mona Morsy, delivered lectures highlighting the role of biofertilizers in improving soil properties and the importance of organic agriculture in addressing food security challenges
The event concluded with an open discussion session, during which participants exchanged ideas on supporting farmers and promoting the transition toward organic agriculture in the desert environment of North Sinai
