Dr. Hossam Shawky, President of Desert Research Center, met with the General Director of Arab Organization for Agricultural Development to discuss ways of cooperation between the two sides, on the one hand and between the organizations and concerned parties on the other hand, to achieve sustainable agricultural development
The meeting discussed the organization’s projects, its current and future activities in Egypt, and the DRC’s capabilities and activities. The two parties put a plan for the next phase, which included activities supporting local communities, exchanging experiences and information, and working on initiatives and programs related to food security, sustainable agricultural development, and capacity building for farmers, in addition to working on joint development projects
