Desert Research Center (DRC) and Matrouh University signed a joint cooperation protocol at the Sustainable Development Center for Matrouh Resources, in the presence of Matrouh Governor Major General Khaled Shuaib, and under the directives of Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation Alaa Farouk
The agreement was signed by Dr. Hosam Shawky, President of DRC, and Dr. Amr El-Masry, President of Matrouh University, with the aim of enhancing scientific and research collaboration, and exchanging expertise and technical consultations to support sustainable development efforts in the region
The protocol seeks to align scientific research with local community needs, leveraging the scientific and human resources of both institutions to advance integrated development—especially in Egypt’s desert areas
