Desert Research Center participated in the activities of Spring Flowers exhibition, in Sharm El-Sheikh, for the second year, as part of the Ministry of Agriculture’s plan, to participate in various exhibitions in preparation for hosting the “Climate Summit” to be held, in the city, next November.
Abdullah Zagloul, president of the Desert Research Center, said ,in a press statement, today, Sunday, that this participation coincides with the celebration of South Sinai Governorate’s national day, and taking Taba back.
Zaghloul added that this participation comes within the plan of the Desert Research Center, in cooperation with various agencies, to promote agricultural products, that suit the environment in South Sinai Governorate, and achieve one of the sustainable development goals, and publish seedlings of crops, that adapt to climate changes.
Dr. Ehab Zagloul, Head of the South Sinai Research Station, said that the DRC’s participation was not limited to plants only, as DRC participated with honey products, produced by the South Sinai Research Station, in addition to the products of sustainable development project, for fruit cultivations, affected by some environmental stresses, in Matrouh Governorate, which were transferred to the exhibition in Sharm El-Sheikh.
