Under patronage of Dr. Abdullah Zagloul, president of Desert Research Centre, in presence of Dr. Hossam Shawky, vice president for research stations and projects, and a number of professors, workers and mothers, DRC organized a celebration on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
In conjunction with that occasion, Mr. Al-Qaseer, minister of agriculture and land reclamation, saluted every Egyptian mother, stressing the state’s permanent support and president Abdel Fattah ElSisi, president of the republic, for Egyptian women who struggle throughout the ages, prove that they are able to work, and can bear responsibility in various fields, this is beside its main role in building family and society.
Mr. Al-Qaseer also congratulated the Egyptian peasant women, who helps their husbands in agricultural work in Egyptian countryside.
During his speech, DRC president said that the ceremony honouring the ideal mother is an immortalization of the meaning of the values of loyalty and giving to every mother who suffered for her children.
Zaghloul added that this celebration is the centre’s first organization for that occasion, stressing that it will not be the last, because every mother always needs to receive thanks and appreciation, for what she does in the lives of her children and society, which gives her even a small boost to keep going.
