The training course “Building the capacity of oil sunflower farmers and raising awareness of the importance of contractual agriculture” under the slogan “Contractual agriculture is safety and guarantee” has been opened
Dr. Zaghlol said that “ the training program targeted the farmers of western Minya mainly, as well as the most important areas famous for the cultivation of sunflowers, which consisted of the center of Bani Mazar, in addition to the reclamation areas that were monitored by Central Egypt
Dr. Elham Younis, head of the research team, said the goal of the training is to raise farmers’ awareness of the importance of contractual agriculture of oil crops in general, and sunflower crops in particular. And that’s before the start of the planting season. The training also included the introduction of contract terms, clauses and parties in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.
