The Desert Research Center continued its land survey and classification studies at the Sanabel Sono Project in West Kom Ombo, Aswan Governorate, as part of the state’s plan for agricultural expansion and increasing cultivated areas
Dr. Hossam Shouki, President of the Center, accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Ezzat, Vice President of the Center, inspected the survey and classification work for the lands targeted in the current phase, covering an area of approximately 78,000 feddans, in coordination with the Future Egypt Agency
The studies aim to assess the suitability of the lands for cultivation, determine appropriate crop patterns, and propose suitable management systems, ensuring the success and sustainability of agricultural development projects in Aswan Governorate
