Desert Research Center dispatched a specialized veterinary caravan to El- Moghra Oasis to provide veterinary services to livestock breeders, along with technical and advisory support to bolster their livestock.
The caravan’s activities included field visits to several livestock breeding areas, providing examination and diagnosis services for animals, and offering free treatment. They also visited 35 farms and listened to breeders’ concerns.
790 different animal diseases were identified and diagnosed. Immediate treatment was provided to the affected animals, along with necessary veterinary recommendations and guidance for breeders, contributing to reducing the spread of diseases and improving livestock health and productivity.
