A training course for university students on how to solve water shortage crisis, in South Sinai

Desert Research Center organizes the fifth training course, for university students, in South Sinai Station, on searching unconventional water sources. The training course is in cooperation between Egyptian Center of Excellence for Water and TACO (both are affiliated to Desert Research Center).

This training course organized within the framework of the Ministry of Agriculture’s efforts to spread awareness of the importance and necessity of searching new and unconventional sources of water. Especially in inland valleys that face severe water scarcity, or in coastal areas that suffer from poor water quality. This is in addition to train them on how to deal with groundwater and wells to preserve their water from depletion or pollution.
