A delegation from African-Asian Rural Development Organization visits Desert Research Center. The delegation headed by Dr. Manoj Nardyosinghe, Secretary General of the organization, and Mr. Mohamed Rashwan, the regional coordinator of the organization in North and East Africa.

The cooperation between Desert Research Center and the African-Asian Rural Development Organization from 2006 for more than 15 years. During these times the two organizations organized periodic educational courses on the phenomenon of desertification and climate change at the “Sustainable Development Center for Matrouh”
